How the scheme works

Period Friendly Places receives the donated cups
-
We then distribute them for free at community events, designed to give people the opportunity to use reusable products who might not be able to afford them themselves

About Eleria
Eleria is a female-founded start-up based in Bristol, created to make sustainable period care more convenient, affordable and accessible. On a mission to drive social change and tackle period poverty across Bristol and the Southwest, we’re proud to be working together to provide reusable period products to those who need them most.
Their menstrual cups are made from 100% medical-grade silicone, designed with both comfort and safety in mind. They can be worn for up to 12 hours, offering greater convenience than disposables which reduces waste but also eases the financial burden of period care, making periods healthier, more sustainable, and more equitable. To support people with the cleaning and sterilisation of their menstrual cups, we developed a Cleaning & Sterilising Case, a convenient, discreet solution designed for use on-the-go, in public, or in shared facilities.
Through our ‘Donate a Cup’ scheme, customers can purchase a menstrual cup that will be given to someone affected by period poverty, along with guidance and support to help them feel confident using reusable products.
Together, we’re working to break down barriers to period care and create a future where everyone has access to safe, sustainable solutions.
