A donation and distribution network of period products is being piloted in Bristol. A pilot web app has been produced collaboratively with a number of web developers with a passion for addressing period poverty, at a weekend Hackathon coordinated by Bristol Open Data.

 

The app will tell people in Bristol where they can get the products they need, or where they can donate them. The network was initially piloted in four locations in the city, and is now being expanded to different areas thanks to the passion and enthusiasm of venues across the city.
